Can I hire Treklodge for a wedding or private event?
Yes – that’s exactly what we do. Whether you’re planning a festival, wedding, retreat, or outdoor celebration, we bring the tents to your chosen venue, set them up, and take care of everything.
Does Treklodge have a glamping site I can visit?
No – we don’t have a fixed location. Treklodge is a mobile service that can travel within the Western Cape. That means we bring our luxury tents to your venue – whether it’s a music festival, a private wedding, or a remote retreat. We set everything up, and take it all down afterwards. No hassle, no stress.
I've never camped before - is glamping really comfortable?
How many people can sleep in a tent?
Nylon tents: Sleeps 2 adults
Canvas tents: Sleeps 2 adults with full bedding
Bell tents: Sleeps 2–4 adults, with options for a king-size or multiple single beds
Is there lighting inside the tents?
Our bell tents come with an interior light, bedside tables, and chairs. Lighting in other tents may vary by event, so please check with your event organiser or reach out to us directly.
Are the tents waterproof?
Absolutely. Our custom-designed bell tents are made for the African climate using premium ripstop canvas – better than standard cotton canvas. They’re breathable, water-resistant, and mould-resistant.
What do I need to bring?
We’ve got the camping gear covered. All our tents come with:
Comfortable foam mattresses
Pillows + covers
Duvets + hotel-quality linen
Depending on your tent, extras like carpets, lights, and chairs may be included. You’ll just need to bring your personal items, clothing, and anything you’d want for the event itself.

What’s the minimum number of tents I can book?
Our minimum booking is typically 5 tents, but we’re flexible depending on location and season. Reach out with your event details and we’ll confirm.
What’s the maximum number of tents you can provide?
We can supply and manage over 100 tents, depending on the lead time, venue access, and required tent types. For larger-scale events, we’ll build a custom plan with you.
How much notice do you need for a booking?
Ideally, 4–6 weeks for medium to large events, especially during peak festival or wedding seasons. That said, we’ll always try to accommodate last-minute requests if availability allows.
Can I customise the interior setup?
Yes – especially in our bell tents. Choose between king-size or multiple single beds, and let us know if you’d like to add décor, lighting, or other event-specific touches.
